Relegation candidates Sassuolo, of all teams, have managed the feat of beating Italian soccer champions Inter Milan twice this season! 

After the 2:1 win in Milan on September 27, 2023, the Serie A club from second last in the table also came out on top in their second clash of the season on Saturday, celebrating a narrow 1:0 home win.

Armand Lauriente (20th) was the match-winner. Marko Arnautovic came on for the losers from the 60th minute onwards. Inter's title has been in the bag for some time now, with a 19-point gap between them and runners-up AC Milan, who host Genoa on Sunday.

Sassuolo drew level on points with 18th-placed Udinese, with the non-relegation zone just two points away.
