The Austrian army marched through the district capital of Tennengau at the weekend - at the invitation of the town.

The swearing-in of 150 new recruits, including two female soldiers, was celebrated at a large ceremony.

The flag troop and an honorary platoon from Pioneer Battalion 2 as well as the 150 conscripts to be sworn in attended the ceremony.

The ceremony was accompanied by music from the Salzburg Military Band under the direction of Lieutenant Johann Schernthanner.
