Hütter club challenged
Le Havre postpones Paris SG’s championship party
Paris Saint-Germain will have to wait a little longer to win their third consecutive French soccer championship title. The capital club would have been crowned champions for the twelfth time in total with a home win against 15th-placed Le Havre on Saturday, but only managed a 3-3 draw and can therefore theoretically still be caught by AS Monaco.
With four games remaining and a goal difference of 29 goals worse than PSG, Adi Hütter's club are twelve points behind them, having played one game more. Should Monegasque fail to win at Olympique Lyon on Sunday, the title would be out of Paris' grasp.
Paris did not field their absolute best line-up against Le Havre ahead of Wednesday's Champions League semi-final first leg at Borussia Dortmund, with Kylian Mbappé only being substituted at the break.
