Austrians open the Mallorca party season
Die Draufgänger, Lorenz Büffel & Co. give an insight into their work before, between and after their gigs on the island.
It's a tough place, but numerous artists from Austria have long since established themselves as regulars on Mallorca and in the local party scene. Entertainers like Stefan Scheichel-Gierten from Krems. He goes by the name Lorenz Büffel - when he sings his hit "Johnny Däpp", temples of good humor shake like the Megapark.
There is also an Austrian working behind the scenes. Event manager Sigi Holleis takes care of everything before, during and after the performances of the numerous artists, all of whom want to become famous on Mallorca. Sandra Stumptner has long since achieved this status. Better known as Antonja, the Linz native switched from party hits to rock.
The Styrian men of the Draufgänger surf the wave of pop success with "Hallo kleine Maus". Frontman Albert gives a little insight into their everyday party life: "We only ever fly to Mallorca for a 35-minute show at the Megapark and the next day we're off again to another country." Time to catch your breath? There's very little...
