Kramsach fire department rescues cat from ventilation hole
A few days ago, the Kramsach volunteer fire department had a strange mission in the Badl district. A cat had fallen through a ventilation hole and was unable to free itself. The Florianis were called out to rescue the animal.
It was a terrifying discovery tour that a cat had undertaken in a house in the Badl district. The animal had fallen through a ventilation hole in a plasterboard wall during its big adventure.
When the occupants of the house noticed the animal trapped there, they initially tried everything to free the four-legged friend from its predicament. But in vain!
As there was no other opening, the fire department had to be called out. Without further ado, a hole was cut in the wall with a reciprocating saw. A short time later, the escapee was safe again and, above all, free. The fire brigade commander Rene Arzberger then gave it a few strokes.
"In order to fully enjoy its freedom again, the cat freed itself before the vet arrived and ran away through the open front door - presumably in the direction of its actual home," the emergency services describe.
