As part of the upcoming Bundesliga match against Frankfurt, FC Bayern hosted a press conference on Friday. Among other things, current coach Thomas Tuchel was asked about Ralf Rangnick.

Background: as the Austrian Football Association has already confirmed, talks are said to have already taken place between the Munich club and the Austrian team manager, the 65-year-old is considered a top candidate for the coaching post at the Allianz Arena, which will become vacant in the summer.

What does Tuchel think? "I take the liberty of putting my headphones on noise canceling and ignoring it," replied the 50-year-old with a smile on his face. "The issue won't help me for tomorrow and it won't help me for Tuesday (against Real Madrid, ed.). It's not my topic."

Tuchel will have to pack his bags after the season. The man from Krumbach only took over from Julian Nagelsmann in March 2023, but has not won the championship or the DFB Cup with Bayern this season.
