Daughter (16) of Slack billionaire runs away
The 16-year-old daughter of Slack co-founder Stewart Butterfield has apparently run away from home and is now being searched for in a panic. There are fears that she has gone into hiding in the notorious drug district of Tenderloin in San Francisco. Influential influencers are sharing her photo to speed up the search.
The 16-year-old Mint Butterfield was reported missing by her mother, entrepreneur Caterina Fake, on Monday, according to US media reports. She was last seen in Bolinas at around 10pm on Sunday.
She left a message for her mother stating that she had left the house. According to police, the young girl had a history of substance abuse.
The Marin County Sheriff's Office released a flier with a picture of Mint and a physical description. Influencers also shared the flier on X to speed up the search.

Fake and her ex-husband Stewart Butterfield co-founded Flickr in 2004 before selling it to Yahoo in 2005. After their divorce in 2008, Stewart co-founded Slack, which was acquired for 27.7 billion dollars in July 2021, according to Forbes
Although he left Slack in 2022, the business magazine estimates Stewart's personal fortune at 1.6 billion dollars.
