2:0! Defending champions Las Vegas extend their lead
In the play-offs of the North American ice hockey league NHL, the Vegas Golden Knights won 3:1 against the Dallas Stars on Wednesday (local time) and extended their lead in the series to 2:0. The defending champions have now won their last six games against the Stars. In the rematch of last year's conference final, Jonathan Marchessault and Jack Eichel each had a goal and an assist.
The Los Angeles Kings evened the series against the Edmonton Oilers with a 5-4 win after overtime, with Anze Kopitar scoring the decisive goal. The Boston Bruins won the third game of the series against the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-2 to regain the lead in the play-offs.
