Boy (5) fell out of second floor window in Tyrol
Devastating accident on Monday afternoon in the Tyrolean Außerfern: In a small community in Zwischentoren, a five-year-old boy fell out of the first-floor window of a detached house. The child suffered serious injuries - his condition was "stable" on Tuesday.
The devastating incident occurred at around 2.30 p.m. on Monday. "A child fell from a window on the second floor of a detached house about three and a half meters into the depths," reported the police.
After first aid, the child was flown by rescue helicopter first to Reutte Hospital and then to Innsbruck Hospital.

The little boy suffered such serious injuries that after first aid he had to be flown by emergency helicopter to Reutte District Hospital and then to Innsbruck Hospital.
There he was treated in the children's intensive care unit. On Tuesday, a hospital spokeswoman said that the boy was in a "stable condition".
Investigation into the cause of the accident
According to the police, it is still unclear how the tragic accident could have happened. Investigations are underway to clarify the cause.
