After bomb threat: still no trace of the caller
After the bomb threat against an apartment building in Innsbruck on Sunday, there is still no trace of the mysterious caller. Investigations to find the perpetrator are in full swing. It is suspected that he comes from the victim's circle of acquaintances.
The threat was made against a specific person, according to the Innsbruck criminal investigation department in response to an inquiry from the "Krone" newspaper. The ominous caller had claimed to have placed an explosive device in the cellar of the apartment building in the Saggen district.
Major operation triggered, house evacuated
The bomb threat was received by police on Sunday afternoon at around 3.15 pm. A large-scale operation was the result. The entire house was evacuated and carefully searched with the help of an explosive detection dog. "No suspicious objects were discovered," said the investigators.
There were still no concrete clues about the caller on Monday. However, the CID investigators assume that the perpetrator is an acquaintance of the victim.
