Hütter’s AS Monaco new runners-up after 2-0 win!
AS Monaco have moved up to second place in the French soccer championship thanks to their third win in a row!
The team of Vorarlberg coach Adi Hütter defeated Stade Brest 2-0 away from home in the 30th round of the competition thanks to goals from Denis Zakaria (40') and Takumi Minamino (48') to move two points clear of third-placed Neo.
Two Monaco players, Ben Seghir and Wilfried Singo, were sent off in stoppage time. The Monegasques are now unbeaten in seven games in the league.
Paris St. Germain won against Olympique Lyon
Monaco are eleven points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain after 29 games, who won 4-1 against Olympique Lyon. An own goal by Nemanja Matic (3rd) put PSG on course early on, Lucas Beraldo (6th) and Goncalo Ramos (33rd, 42nd) then all scored before the break.
