“Girls Day” in blue light: a taster for girls
Police, fire department, Red Cross and army present themselves shoulder to shoulder in Klagenfurt army barracks.
It's going to be exciting on April 25: women and girls can get a taste of the blue light profession at a special event in Klagenfurt's Khevenhüller barracks! The police, fire department, Red Cross, Samaritans, Civil Defense Association and Austrian Armed Forces will be giving a joint presentation from 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. to show what they can do.
Girls can try everything out and find out about career paths. Everything from police helicopters and firefighting equipment to ambulances will be on display. There is also the opportunity to have lunch in the barracks - and take home a "selfie" from the photo box set up on site as a souvenir.
