New film: Zendaya “loved” shooting sex scenes

Challengers - Rivals" is soon to be released in cinemas and as if the trailer didn't promise enough, leading actress Zendaya (27) has now revealed what she liked best: shooting sex scenes!

The actress, who stars as aspiring tennis star Tashi Duncan in the romance film, also raved about her co-stars Josh O'Connor (33) and Mike Faist (32).

Speaking to The Mirror, Zendaya revealed that she "loved" filming the intimate scenes in her new movie as the shoot went "so well". The 27-year-old explained that she was "lucky" with her cast mates. Because Josh and Mike were "always there for her".

Her family's reactions were "hilarious"
The 27-year-old loved seeing her family's reactions to the hot scenes in the movie just as much. "I gave them a heads up. But it was honestly my favorite part. I've seen the movie many times," Zendaya, who is also a co-producer of the romantic sports movie, told host Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday. The 27-year-old would know exactly when those sexy scenes were coming.

"When those scenes came, I was basically just watching my family because they were sitting behind me. So I was watching them the whole time. It was hilarious," Zendaya revealed.

She mimicked how her family became increasingly uncomfortable and turned her head to the side while covering her face. Zendaya said her 18-year-old nieces clapped both hands over their faces. "That was my favorite part of the night," Zendaya said.

In Challengers, which will be released on April 26, Zendaya's character - an aspiring tennis player - gives up her career after a serious injury. Instead, she focuses on coaching her colleague Art (Mike Faist), with whom she falls in love.

But Tashi's feelings take a dangerous turn after Art is sent on the Challenger Tour, where he competes against Tashi's ex-boyfriend Patrick (Josh O'Connor).
