Kourtney Kardashian fights back against body shaming

For her sister Kourtney's 45th birthday, Kim Kardshian posted a joint photo with her two sisters on Instagram. However, some fans used the lovely gesture to leave derogatory comments about Kourtney's curves. But she is now fighting back.

At the end of last year, Kourtney Kardashian became a mom again. Son Rocky made the love happiness of the eldest in the Kardashian clan with rocker Travis Barker perfect. No wonder Kourtney proudly showed off her after-baby body in the bikini photo posted by her sister Kim on the occasion of her 45th birthday. 

Nasty body shaming
However, while numerous fans in the comments section rejoiced at how great the mother-of-four looks and how much they love her natural look, a few trolls also mingled with the Kardashian followers.

Kourtney herself has now taken one of the body-shamers to task. The troll stated that the joint photo of the three Kardashian sisters was a disaster for the birthday girl. "You know, she's not going to like this photo ...", he teased - and laughed: "It's her birthday, Kim."

But Kourtney immediately countered the nasty body shamer. "I LOVE this photo," she wrote, according to TMZ. "It shows me and my sisters having the best time on a trip with our kids ... and these memories will last forever. And I LOVE this body that gave me three big babies and my little baby boy."

The eldest Kardashian sister recently spoke out against body shaming. In an Instagram story, she wrote the following about a photo of her in a bikini: "Your body is beautiful at all stages. During pregnancy when we're glowing and growing, postpartum when we're healing and shrinking, and then there's this time that's the hardest for me because our bodies are still getting used to it."

She continued: "I'm trying to be kind to myself as my body finds a new normal. The pressure we feel to be instantly slim again when everything is new and different isn't realistic." Kourtney concluded her message by saying, "Since life is beautiful, you are beautiful. Just a little reminder (to me too)."

Kourtney Kardashian, who has been married to Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker since 2022, has sons Mason (14) and Reign (9) and daughter Penelope (11) from her relationship with Scott Disick.
