Four and a half years in prison for drug dealer (37)

He sold around 50 kilograms of cannabis and around seven kilograms of cocaine or gave them to other dealers: A Bosnian man (37) living in Salzburg made a confession to this accusation by the public prosecutor's office on Thursday in Salzburg Provincial Court.

The drug deal had been going on since 2020 - the arrest took place in May 2023. He did not make any other statements and ultimately received four and a half years in prison, legally binding. The 37-year-old was involved in a major narcotics case involving the smuggling of 340 kilos of cannabis and 26 kilos of cocaine.

A Europe-wide police operation involving investigators from 16 countries finally tracked down the drug traffickers.
