Ryanair passenger (33) dies minutes after take-off
Drama on board a domestic flight in Italy: A 33-year-old passenger died on board a Ryanair plane a few minutes after take-off in Turin on Wednesday. According to the airport, the plane turned back immediately - but all help came too late for the man.
The exact cause of death is not yet known. The plane was on its way from Turin in northern Italy to the city of Lamezia Terme in the south of the country.
Complaints of nausea
According to the daily newspaper "Corriere della Sera", the passenger, who was traveling with his wife, had complained of nausea after boarding. He then lost consciousness.
Return to the airport after only 36 minutes
According to the report, the pilot immediately turned around and landed again after just 36 minutes. However, the emergency doctor was only able to determine that the passenger had died. The wife was taken to hospital.
