Two accidents under the influence of alcohol

Two car accidents under the influence of alcohol occurred on Monday evening. In both cases, the vehicles were severely damaged.  

On Monday evening, a 38-year-old man from Spittal an der Drau was driving his car at the industrial park in Kleinedling. According to him, a car came towards him there, forcing him to swerve to the right. He crashed into the kerbs, causing severe damage to his car, which was no longer roadworthy. A breathalyzer test revealed that he was heavily intoxicated. His driver's license was confiscated. He will be reported to the Wolfsberg district authority.

Car overturned
Another traffic accident occurred late at night on the Packer Bundestraße B70 from Völkermarkt in the direction of Griffen. A 29-year-old woman from the municipality of Griffen was driving her car here. At Haimburg, she left the road for unknown reasons, hit a road marker and crashed into the guard rails. Due to the force of the impact, the vehicle overturned and then came to a standstill lying on its roof. The woman was injured to an undetermined degree and was taken to Klagenfurt University Hospital after receiving initial medical treatment. A breathalyzer test was positive. She will be reported to the Klagenfurt district authority.
