Surprising scenes outside a hospital in Mallorca: Til Schweiger (60) was carried - apparently in pain - to a clinic. The actor has now also broken his arm.

What's going on with Til Schweiger? The actor is actually battling blood poisoning, for which he even had to be treated in hospital.

"I hit my shin back then and germs got into it. Now I have an 'open leg', that's what they call it. Unfortunately, it got worse and worse," he explained a few days ago, explaining how the illness came about. Now he seems to be struggling with further health problems.

Broken arm after sepsis drama
Footage obtained by RTL shows Schweiger being carried to hospital in Mallorca. In the short clip, the 60-year-old is driven to the clinic by his friend and fellow actor Oliver Masucci (55) and later even carried in by him.

The 60-year-old appeared to be in severe pain. However, the actor later left the clinic on his own, with bandages on his arms, and even explained to the waiting journalists what his hospital stay was all about: "I thought I had broken both arms, but it was only the left one. The right one is just broken."

Uncertainties after hospital scenes
Before Schweiger could explain how he was feeling or how the fractures occurred, Oliver Masucci pulled him away from the cameras and led him to the car. It is unclear what these unusual scenes were all about and why the actor was taken to hospital.
