Car collided: Car crashed into biker (21)

Serious accident in Innsbruck on Monday morning! Two cars driven by a woman (49) and a man (55) collided at a junction. One of the vehicles was consequently knocked into a cyclist (21). The 21-year-old suffered serious injuries.

The accident happened at around 8.20 am. At the intersection of Kaiserjägerstraße - Gänsbacherstraße - Karl-Schönherr-Straße, a collision occurred between the 49-year-old woman's car and the 55-year-old man's car. "One of the two vehicles was knocked into the 21-year-old, who was standing at a stop line on her bicycle," said the investigators.

Admitted to hospital
As a result, the woman was thrown from her bike and landed on a grass verge. The 21-year-old suffered serious injuries as a result. She was taken to Innsbruck Hospital by the ambulance service.
