Perpetrator denies everything after attempted murder in Tyrol
Following the attempted murder of a 31-year-old Turkish man who allegedly ran down his partner at a petrol station in Telfs in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land, the alleged perpetrator was questioned on Monday. He denies all accusations. Meanwhile, the victim is still in a critical condition.
As reported, the suspect met his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend at the petrol station in Telfs shortly after midnight on Sunday night for a discussion. A total of ten people were gathered in the area. An argument soon broke out, which escalated into an argument. The 24-year-old ex-girlfriend and employee of the petrol station tried to settle the dispute. The 31-year-old then got into his car and pressed the gas pedal.
Victim in a critical condition
The woman was seriously injured. The alleged perpetrator was questioned on Monday. However, he "denies any accusation", according to the investigators. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old was still in hospital in Innsbruck. Her condition is still "critical", they said.
