Police: No evidence
FPÖ deplores arson attack on former editorial office
The FPÖ reported on Sunday that an arson attack had been carried out on the former editorial office of "unzensuriert.at" in Vienna's Josefstadt district. However, no fire was detected on site, the police reported.
They did, however, find a damaged window pane, a broken glass bottle and a brick. Evidence was recovered at the scene, they added. However, charges against unknown persons for attempted arson were confirmed.
"Undemocratic perpetrators"
The Vienna FPÖ is certain that undemocratic perpetrators are behind the action. General Secretary Christian Hafenecker identified a connection with a video that was shown in the committee of inquiry into the "red-blue abuse of power". It shows the former editorial office of the medium in Vienna's Josefstadt district.
The police had not even seized the murder weapon. "This fits into the overall picture of complete left-wing blindness that Gerhard Karner leaves behind as head of department," criticized Hafenecker.
