Tiger Woods sets record at Augusta

Former champion Tiger Woods has set a record at the Golf Masters in Augusta by making the cut for the 24th time in a row.

The 48-year-old American followed up his opening 73 on Friday with a par round of 72 strokes. The 15-time major winner is therefore certain to make it through to the final two days of the prestigious tournament. However, numerous players were still out and about late on Friday evening (CEST).

Sepp Straka was heading for a significant improvement with two under par after ten holes played. The Viennese was in 42nd place after his opening round of 73 strokes.
