Over 80 km/h too fast: German now “carless”
A German was in a particular hurry on the Inntal freeway in the Tyrolean lowlands on Thursday evening: the 28-year-old was speeding at more than 80 km/h and was taken off the road by the police. In the end, the speeding driver not only had to surrender his driver's license.
The list of speeding cars confiscated in Austria is getting longer and longer: late on Thursday evening, there was a seizure on the A12 Inntalautobahn in the Tyrolean lowlands.
Through an 80 km/h zone at 161 km/h
In the course of speed checks near Münster (district of Kufstein), a 28-year-old German driver was targeted by the police as he was speeding along the highway at 161 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The driver was immediately taken off the road.
"His driver's license was temporarily confiscated.After consultation with the relevant administrative authority, the vehicle was also provisionally confiscated," said the investigators. Corresponding charges will follow.
