With short cooking videos on social media platforms, restaurateur and Neos politician Sepp Schellhorn became something of a cult figure last year. Now the "ReSeppte" is available in printed form.

Sepp Schellhorn is now available to eat. The restaurateur and Neos politician presented a new cookbook yesterday evening, Tuesday, in his Salzburg restaurant M32. Admittedly, it is not his first, but it is his most personal cookbook to date. The 90 recipes are Sepp Schellhorn at his best.

The book contains only dishes from the social media series "Sepp, was machst du?" (Sepp, what are you doing?), which has become a cult series. In each of the short internet videos, Schellhorn prepares a dish, gives tips and wittily explains his world of cooking. He reaches up to 600,000 fans online. Now these "ReSeppte" from the internet clips are available in printed form.

Festival director Markus Hinterhäuser, baker Josef Weghaupt ("Joseph Brot") and schnapps distiller Hans Reisetbauer, among others, have signed their Sepp cookbook. Although the busy Schellhorn was late for his own celebration, his friends and companions were of course waiting for the host. Salzburg's Hotel Sacher boss Angelique Weinberger sweetened the evening and, together with Berthold Obauer, presented a Sepp cake - consisting of a large number of small Sacher cubes.

"Sepp, was machst du?" by Sepp Schellhorn was published by DK Verlag.
