Boy (10) stuck in chimney – rescued!

Apparently driven by curiosity, a boy from Whitman in the US state of Massachusetts climbed out of the second-floor window of his house on Wednesday afternoon, made his way to the roof and climbed up the chimney like Santa Claus. But it came as it had to: the boy was immediately stuck!

The boy's brother witnessed the action and alerted his father, who was at work. He immediately rushed home and informed the police on the way.

Together with the fire department, they were able to quickly rescue the child from his predicament before the father arrived home. The son was unharmed and embraced his father with relief.
