Doskozil’s list for the election “young, very female”

"We are bringing the successful Burgenland way into parliament!" Pannonian SPÖ regional chairman Hans Peter Doskozil is full of confidence. Without further ado, he presented the candidates he is backing in the National Council elections. 

The SPÖ's provincial board is motivated with regard to the national elections, which are to take place in the fall. Maximilian Köllner, Member of the National Council and Mayor of Illmitz, leads the ranks. The 33-year-old is also the top candidate for the northern regional constituency.

Broadly positioned
Jürgen Schabhüttl (53), Mayor of Inzenhof, is the candidate for the South regional constituency. Among the 14 names on the provincial list is SPÖ Managing Director Jasmin Puchwein. Also on the list are Olivia Kaiser, Michael Sgarz, Vanessa Franziska Sommer, Christoph Frühstück, Denise Kramelhofer, Yvonne Übelbacher, Sophie Eder, Rudolf Rogatsch, Hannah Grandits, Karin Vukman-Artner and Carina Pinzker.

"Excellent mixture"
Social Democratic state chairman and governor Hans Peter Doskozil believes Burgenland is in an excellent position and is confident: "Our state list is young and very female, while at the same time we have politically experienced professionals running. That makes for an excellent mix." The official decision will be made at the provincial party conference on April 19 in Eisenstadt.
