Police again ask the public for help

In the case of the shooting in front of the Lustenau radio station and the armed robbery in Dornbirn, investigators from the Vorarlberg State Office of Criminal Investigation are still in the dark. 

Both cases have made the headlines in Vorarlberg, in both cases someone was shot and in both cases there is no trace of the perpetrators. Whether the two cases are connected is still unclear. We are talking about the shooting outside the Sender nightclub in Lustenau Ried and the armed robbery in Dornbirn at the end of March.

The shooting in front of the Sender already happened in January. Three men with a Chechen background had tried to enter the nightclub but were turned away at the entrance. Just as they were about to leave in the direction of the parking lot, an unknown man suddenly appeared with a handgun and suddenly fired several shots at the trio - two of the three men were hit in the arms and legs by the bullets. The assassin then sped off in a black SUV. He has been on the run ever since and there are no concrete clues to his identity.

The robbery in Dornbirn was as brutal as it was mysterious. At the end of March, unknown perpetrators slowed down a driver (34) on Höchsterstraße and shot him, hitting him in the shoulder. They then forced the victim to hand over a large sum of money. In this case too, the perpetrators managed to escape and there is no trace of them.

In view of the fact that there have been no new developments in either case - let alone any findings - the police are once again asking for the public's help. Witnesses or persons who can provide relevant information should contact the police immediately.
