Tyrolean hotels with a heart for fluffy four-legged friends

Are you already planning your summer vacation and looking for accommodation that also welcomes four-legged friends? Then you'll find what you're looking for on the vacation portal www.hundehotel.info. For the fifth time, it has presented an award to the 50 best accommodations that have a heart for fluffy companions.

The jury did not have an easy task this year either. There were a whopping 700 dog-friendly hotels to choose from in twelve European countries. Among the top ten were once again some from Tyrol. First place in the "Holy Land" (3rd place in Austria, 7th place overall) went to the Hotel Magdalena in Ried im Zillertal. The hotel has a large dog swimming pond, special dog massages and its own barf dog menu. One dog per room stays free of charge.

The Hundehotel Riederhof in Ried im Oberinntal took second place (4th place in Austria, 8th place overall). In addition to a dog play area including a pond, the operators offer guided hikes with your four-legged friend.

Seven other hotels from Tyrol in the top 50
Alpenhotel Tyrol in Pertisau am Achensee came in third place on the podium (6th place in Austria, 10th place overall). Highlights include its own dog pool, cozy dog sun beds and the "Tirol-Barf". Seven other Tyrolean hotels also made it into the top 50 (overall): the Hotel Bergfrieden in Fiss (13), the Inntalerhof in Mösern (24), the Hotel Fliana in Ischgl (26), the Hotel Johanna in Umhausen (29), the Dagnhof in Walchsee (45), the Alpin Resort Sacher in Seefeld (48) and the Tennerhof Gourmet & Spa de Charme Hotel in Kitzbühel (50).
