Eleven goals, two yellow cards and a charge in the derby

The 2nd division North A derby between Schleedorf and Straßwalchen turned into a real game of chaos. While the spectators were treated to the finest entertainment, it was less fun for those involved.Now there is confusion about an exclusion that should never have happened.

A result that is usually only seen in ice hockey. Schleedorf lost 5:6 at home to Straßwalchen 1b! From a sporting point of view, the 2nd class North A derby was an open exchange of blows that offered a memorable match for the spectators. Straßwalchen were already 4:1 and 5:3 ahead, but still had to tremble at the end. Despite the victory, however, the team contested the certification.

The reason for this? In the 57th minute, Straßwalchen's Samuel Kraihammer committed a foul that was also worthy of a yellow card for his coach. "Unfortunately, the referee wrote down the number eight instead of his number eleven," groaned coach Wolfgang Denk. The problem: The number eight, Marcus Hyden, was shown a yellow card five minutes before the end after an extreme test of the opponent's resistance - without an actual warning beforehand. Straßwalchen will now take action against a suspension.

The head coach was also reported to the police for not signing. "For us, it's madness that we're missing a player because the referee didn't write the numbers down correctly," said Denk. Schleedorf coach Andreas Kaiser also understood the excitement: "The referee was out of his depth." Nobody knows exactly what will happen next. Clarity is to be provided at a meeting on Wednesday.
