Someone was in a particular hurry: Djokovic won his comeback match against Roman Safiullin in the second round in Monte Carlo on Tuesday in quick succession 6:1, 6:2.

Oldest number one
Djokovic became the oldest number one in the ATP world rankings on Monday. The Serb snatched the top spot from his former permanent rival Roger Federer at the age of 36 years and 321 days. The Swiss was one day younger when he was last at the top in the summer of 2018. Djokovic has now been at the top for a total of 420 weeks, which is just as much of a record as winning 24 Grand Slam titles. Sebastian Ofner improved his ranking to 44th place.
