The factory sale was closed a few days after the opening of insolvency proceedings, and now the end is also sealed for Kletzl Fleischwaren GmbH!

Two and a half weeks after the financial difficulties at the family business from Wildenau were announced, the originally planned restructuring is off the table.

Costs too high, operating results too low, no guarantee from a third party that would assume liability for the continuation of the business - this combination ensured that Kletzl Fleischwaren withdrew the restructuring plan. Trustee in bankruptcy Christoph Danner has already closed the business, which also produced the "Kletzerl" snack sausages invented by Josef Kletzl.

What happens now? The search for a buyer has begun. Talks had already been held with interested parties before the insolvency proceedings were opened. According to KSV 1870, the liabilities amounted to around 5.6 million euros.
