Ex-1b coach
Herculean task awaits Golling’s interim coach
Golling's former 1b coach Sanel Moric is back in Tennengau after a short break. After a very weak spring so far, a lot of rebuilding work will be necessary. His debut on Saturday will be against former club Siezenheim.
As is well known, Golling coach Patrick Schöberl surprisingly resigned on Sunday. However, the Salzburg league club promptly found his successor and presented Sanel Moric as interim coach on Monday. He is a well-known name in Golling, having coached the club's 1b team in the 2nd division Nord B until March, but had to call it a day for personal reasons. "I've sorted that out now," says Moric and is now ready for the Salzburg League. "I'm definitely looking forward to it."
However, a Herculean task awaits him. In the spring, the Tennengau team picked up just one point from four games and scored just two goals. "It's a huge task. But I'm aware of what I've let myself in for. I want to pass on my passion to the boys," explains the coach, who is set to stay until the summer. "If it works out, there's nothing to stop me extending my contract." His first match with the new squad will be on Saturday against Siezenheim, where Moric played for five years.
