Double podium for motocross talent Bauer

Up-and-coming motocross rider Ricardo Bauer got off to a flying start with two second places in the first zone race of the European MX Championship in Slovenia. After a very successful international season, the rider from Antau had put himself under a lot of pressure before the competitions.

Training and qualifying did not go quite as planned. "There were mistakes and mistakes," said coach Philipp Ringhofer, "but we built Ricardo up well." And so the Antau motocross talent's results at the first zone round of the MX European Championship in the up to 85 cc class in Brezice, Slovenia, were just right. The two second places were impressive.

The action continues next weekend with the second stop in Croatia. "Ricardo put a bit too much stress on himself in training and qualifying because he was simply very successful internationally," explained coach Philipp Ringhofer, "he knows he can do even better."
