Sven Ulreich's emotions obviously got the better of him. During the 3-2 draw against FC Heidenheim, Bayern's keeper caused a scandal when he pushed a ball boy against the board in stoppage time. After the game, the 35-year-old apologized for his short-circuited reaction.

The background: After taking a 2-0 lead, Bayern let the game slip from their grasp and conceded three goals. In the hope of still earning a point, Ulreich, who is currently replacing the injured Manuel Neuer, tried to play the ball forward as quickly as possible, but it was not thrown to him.

As a result, the goalkeeper jumped over the advertising banners and then pushed the ball to the side. He lost his balance and stumbled against the wall of the stands. An action for which Ulreich received loud whistles from the Heidenheim fans.

Nevertheless, after the final whistle, the goalkeeper proved to be a sportsman, apologized to the boy and gave him his jersey. Nevertheless, Ulreich was unable to prevent a defeat. After two successive defeats, Bayern are now 16 points behind leaders Leverkusen, and Xabi Alonso's side need just one win in six games to dethrone Munich.
