"Am Wörthersee" actor Julian Waldner talks about the new series, the Carinthian dialect and curious questions in the "Krone" interview.

"Krone": The " Am Wörthersee" trailer has generated a lot of discussion. How often have you been asked for details about the series?
Julian Waldner: Yes, the interest is really enormous, we've already had a lot of clicks on the trailer on YouTube! A lot of people wanted to know more about the series - but it's all still a secret!

How did you experience filming in Carinthia?
Lake Wörthersee really is a paradise. The whole area was a huge playground for us - that's exactly what I became an actor for.

You were born in Carinthia - how did your colleagues cope with the dialect?
I'm sensitive when it comes to Carinthian dialect - of course I have a very keen ear (laughs). Alena Gerber certainly had the hardest time as a German, but she did a great job. In general, I was able to work with great colleagues.
