After two defeats in a row in the league - against Borussia Dortmund and Heidenheim - Bayern are at rock bottom. The championship is out of the question, third place is shaky. Now Thomas Müller has spoken out via Instagram ahead of the difficult Champions League clash with FC Arsenal.

"Two days before the game against Arsenal, it's honestly a difficult moment for us. After two consecutive defeats in the Bundesliga, our confidence seems to be pretty low," said the 34-year-old, summarizing Munich's situation.

"Provide a surprise"
"We should use this situation as an opportunity to spring a surprise on the big stage against the Gunners. This is not the time to give up. Let's go boys."

Two-goal lead given away
Bayern squandered a two-goal lead in Heidenheim on Saturday and let victory slip from their grasp in the second half. The only possible title left for Bayern is the Champions League. There, none other than English league leaders FC Arsenal must be defeated in the round of 16.
