Interio: Creditors have accepted restructuring plan

The furniture retailer Interio, which slipped into insolvency in January, continues to operate. At the restructuring plan hearing held at the Wiener Neustadt Regional Court on Thursday, the creditors approved a restructuring plan with a quota of 20 percent to be paid in installments over the next two years.

The Lower Austrian furniture store Interio ("Magazin 07 Möbel und Einrichtungen VertriebsgmbH") had filed for insolvency at the beginning of the year with liabilities of EUR 9.4 million.

This affects 80 employees and 110 creditors. Interio still owns six of its former seven locations.

Examination of claims underway
By the time of the examination hearing, creditor claims amounting to approx. 15.8 million had been registered and initially recognized by the insolvency administrator in the amount of around 10.9 million euros. However, the verification of the claims has not yet been completed.
