Bayern veteran Müller: “I’m really frustrated”

Thomas Müller has expressed his frustration in his personal newsletter. The defeat against Dortmund was the next blow in a difficult season. The focus must now be on the Champions League. But Arsenal are a tough opponent. 

"Leverkusen show no weakness and we don't deliver. The disappointing performance against BVB and Leverkusen's last-minute win unfortunately fit into this picture once again," Müller wrote in his newsletter, referring to Bayern's disappointing season.

The record champions no longer have a realistic chance of winning the championship, currently 13 points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Müller is really frustrated that the team has not managed to perform better and has rarely shown its potential. Nevertheless, he also had to highlight Leverkusen's performance.

"Have the hardest path"
In addition to the championship, the DFB Cup title is also already lost, which is why Munich's focus is now on the Champions League. "Anyone who followed the draw knows that we've probably got the toughest route to the final. But maybe that's exactly our path," said Müller confidently.

Arsenal have not been a major hurdle for Bayern in the past. However, the face of the team from London has changed, warns Müller: "This is no longer the Arsenal that Bayern have repeatedly dispatched with ease in the past. It will be a lot of work, but I am convinced that we will beat the Gunners."
