On the "Drauß'n"
Ferrari & Co. come under the auction hammer here
Experiences in the Carinthian mountains and cycling are the themes of the "Drauß'n" trade fair, which takes place from Friday to Sunday at the exhibition grounds in Klagenfurt. For the first time, there will also be a vintage car auction at the leisure fair.
Snow-capped peaks or gentle crests - Carinthia's mountain world is so incredibly diverse and can be experienced in many different ways while hiking.
Nine Carinthian mountain hiking guides will report on their tours on the "Bergkrone" stage in exhibition hall 2, such as the likeable Sylvia Granitzer from Mölltal about the route up Carinthia's highest vineyard and the Gailtal mountain expert Johann Goldberger about the extraordinary long-distance hiking trail "Hoch & Heilig". Stefanie Fössl from Klebach-Lind will even bring a llama to Carinthia's largest outdoor trade fair on Saturday, which takes place as part of the leisure fair in Klagenfurt from Friday to Sunday.

Special "Bergkrone" cinema
On all three days of the fair, former provincial governor Gerhard Dörfler will also be present on the fair stage at 11 am and 3 pm to talk about his river adventures along the Tagliamento in Italy. Time and again, he takes interested nature lovers with him so that they can get to know one of the last wild rivers in the Alps.
There will also be a "Bergkrone" cinema, where spectacular mountain films by Carinthian Gerald Salmina will be shown.
For the special price of 19.99 euros
there will be a joint opportunity with Intersport at the "Bergkrone" stand to have your bike checked in good time before the start of the cycling season. In addition to gear shifting, braking system, tire pressure and chain lubrication, all screws and moving parts will also be thoroughly checked - acceptance times are from 10 am to 3 pm.
Who secures the "red eye-catcher"?
Gerald Taferner from Tafrent is a passionate car enthusiast and also runs his own car museum in Villach - a must for all car fans!
For the "Classic Cars & Bikes", which takes place from April 5 to 7 as part of the leisure fair in Klagenfurt, the car expert is organizing an auction with spectacular vehicles.
There will even be a red eye-catcher under the hammer, a Dino 208 GT4, a sports car from the Italian car manufacturer Ferrari. "Enzo Ferrari named the car after his son Alfredo," says the man from Villach, who has also found other gems for the auction, such as a Renault R5 GT 5 Turbo or a VW Golf II, a first owner with 68,000 kilometers, as well as a turquoise Mercedes LP813 truck, also a first owner with 140,000 kilometers. The classic car auction will take place on Saturday, April 6 (from 1 p.m.).
450 exhibitors offer an exciting and varied event
From cars and motorcycles to travel, culinary delights, sport and entertainment: "The leisure fair really does offer something for everyone, whether young or old," agree Harald Kogler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the trade fair, and Managing Director Bernhard Erler.
The latest cars and motorcycles will be presented in Halls 1 and 2 and, above all, the variety of alternative drive concepts, from plug-in hybrids to purely electric vehicles, will be on display.
While a good 50 winegrowers from the Alps-Adriatic region will be presenting their wines in Hall 3, Hall 4 will be all about relaxation and recreation at home. The street food promenade promises culinary experiences, while barbecue world champion Bimbo Binder will be demonstrating tricks and tips on how to improve your barbecue skills.
Not forgetting the amusement park, which is open from 10 a.m. to midnight and is not just for the youngsters.
