Ronaldo’s 45-minute show in record win
Three goals and two assists in 45 minutes - Cristiano Ronaldo was unstoppable in the Saudi Pro League on Tuesday. It was his second treble in 72 hours. With the 8:0 victory over Abha, al-Nasr made history.
The big favorites were already 5:0 up at half-time. Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo scored three goals (twice from free kicks). The 39-year-old also provided the assists for the goals from Sadio Mane and Abdulmajeed Al Sulayhim - an almost magical performance!
After 45 minutes, 'CR7's' gala was finally over. "We're not slowing down," Ronaldo announced after the 8:0 victory. It was the biggest win in the club's history.
Ronaldo had already scored three times in the 5-1 win over Al-Tai on Saturday, a total he has achieved three times so far this season. Ronaldo leads the scoring charts with 29 goals.

Despite the record-breaking show, the chances of winning the championship are slim. With 62 points, al-Nasr are in second place in the Saudi Pro League with eight matchdays to go. The gap to leaders Al-Hilal is twelve points.
