Especially because of the boss
Every second person feels stressed in their professional life
Over half of job seekers feel very or somewhat stressed at work. This was the result of a survey conducted by the online job platform karriere.at on the occasion of World Health Day on April 7.
38 percent of those surveyed stated that they are very stressed at work, while 18 percent currently feel rather stressed at work. For 60 percent, the high level of stress is also a reason for their desire to change jobs.
Collaboration with managers as the main reason for stress
When asked about the causes of stress in the workplace, 20 percent of respondents stated that collaboration with their manager was the main source of stress, followed by the workload (15 percent) and time pressure when completing tasks (14 percent).
Desire to promote work-life balance
While 51% of respondents stated that their employer did not offer any company health measures, measures to promote work-life balance are particularly popular with employees at home. The four-day week, the option to work from home and flexible working hours are at the top of the list.
