Manuel Neuers celebrates his first Easter as a dad

Family happiness instead of Bayern frustration. After becoming a dad a few weeks ago, Manuel Neuer has now shared his first insight into his new life as a father on Instagram. On Easter Sunday, the Bayern goalie and his son went out into the countryside. 

"A little Easter walk at home," the 38-year-old wrote with two photos showing him pushing a baby carriage. The German national team goalkeeper and his wife Anika became parents for the first time in mid-March.

While things could hardly be going better in his private life, Neuer is currently having a difficult time on the pitch. The star keeper was recently absent from the DFB team and the Bundesliga clash against Dortmund. The team suffered a 2-0 defeat against BVB on Saturday, meaning the championship title is probably gone for good ...
