An accomplice (15) of the young serial criminal from Upper Austria, who fooled the police for months, explains in an interview with "Krone" how he himself became an accomplice in car thefts and even a robbery.

Why do children and young people become criminals and what can be done about it? This is a question that is currently not only preoccupying local politicians. The case of 15-year-old A. from Wels illustrates how easily teenagers can be drawn into criminal activities out of curiosity, exuberance and contact with the wrong friends. 

A. recently had to stand trial as an accomplice of the "problem boy" E., who had kept the police on their toes with more than 200 crimes before his 14th birthday. In the interview, he describes his motives and the "adrenaline rush", but also the "most hellish hours" of his life and where he now sees his way out.
