Tyrol: Rubbish house on fire, car also damaged

Operation for the Florianis in the Tyrolean capital on Thursday evening! A garbage house in Bachlechnerstraße had caught fire. The heat also damaged a car that was parked next to it.

The Floriani firefighters were alerted shortly before 7.30 pm. The cause was a solid construction garbage house that had caught fire. "The building burned out completely, along with the seven garbage cans inside", according to the investigators. 

The Innsbruck professional fire department was able to fight the flames quickly using heavy breathing apparatus.

Car damaged on driver's side
The intense heat damaged the driver's side of a car parked next to the garbage shed. The Innsbruck fire department was able to quickly extinguish the flames using heavy breathing apparatus. The cause of the fire is still unclear. Corresponding investigations are underway.
