Thiem: “My wrist has come back”
Setback for Dominic Thiem: as the 2020 US Open winner reveals, his wrist is causing him problems again. It is a "small inflammation".
"There are a lot of questions and I wanted you to know the truth," Thiem begins his post on social media. The Lower Austrian has been training with his father Wolfgang again since the Australian Open. Intensive sessions have been on the program recently.

"Unfortunately, my wrist has been acting up again. These clicks in my wrist have become more frequent again. This strange feeling, coupled with slight pain," explains Thiem.
A "small inflammation" therefore forced him to withdraw from the Challenger in Naples.
"That's my goal"
Thiem, who is already on the road to recovery, plans to return in Estoril (from April 1). "I want to play there again, that's my goal," said the former tennis hero.
