“I will never work with him again”

During the MotoGP race in Portimao, where he was allowed to wave the chequered flag, José Mourinho commented on his departure as coach of AS Roma. He never wants to have anything to do with Tiago Pinto, the former sporting director of the Italians, explained "The Special One".

Mourinho still can't explain why he had to pack his bags, but his relationship with the former manager is broken beyond repair. "I don't care what Pinto says. I will never work with him again. The truth is that I don't waste a second reading or listening to Mr. Tiago Pinto's interviews, they don't interest me at all," the Portuguese made clear.

What surprises Mourinho: "It's difficult to understand how a coach who has reached two European finals in a row can be sacked. That's the only strange thing." After all, the 2022 Conference League title was followed by a place in the 2023 Europa League final, which was lost on penalties to Sevilla FC.

When asked about his future plans, the 61-year-old explained: "There's no news at the moment, no news at all. I don't have a club, I'm free. But I want to work, I want to work in the summer." It is quite possible that we will soon see "The Special One" back on the bench ...
