Car driver (26) crashed into oncoming traffic

The 26-year-old woman had probably underestimated the wintry road conditions on Sunday afternoon. As she was driving downhill on the L21 from Sulzberg towards Langen, she skidded on a bend, skidded into the oncoming lane and crashed into the car of a couple. 

The accident, which occurred at around 13.30 near the Hompmannbach bridge, ended for the couple in hospital. Both sustained chest injuries and were taken to Bregenz Regional Hospital by ambulance. 

The female driver was lucky in the accident. She remained uninjured. The emergency services had a lot to do at the scene of the accident. The Sulzberg local fire department was deployed with 20 people. The rescue service was also on site with two vehicles.
