Bosnian stole e-scooter from 14-year-old Kosovar

The Salzburg police were called out several times in the city on Sunday evening. The officers were able to arrest an e-scooter thief from Bosnia, had to attend a traffic accident and settled an argument between two people from Romania. 

In the old town, an 18-year-old Bosnian stole an e-scooter from a 14-year-old Kosovar in the early evening. The victim tried to defend himself but was pushed to the ground by the perpetrator. Thanks to a quickly initiated manhunt, the attacker was found and arrested. The Kosovar was injured to an indeterminate degree during the attack. 

At around the same time, there was a traffic accident between a car driver and a cyclist in Emil-Kofler-Straße. The 47-year-old collided with the 28-year-old, who fell and sustained minor injuries. Alcohol tests on the parties involved were negative, the cyclist refused to undergo a medical examination.

Threatened with a knife

At around 20.30, the officers noticed angry people in Elisabethvorstadt. Shortly before, there had been an argument between a 38-year-old man and his 24-year-old neighbor. As both were from Romania and therefore hardly spoke any German, it was difficult to establish the facts of the case. With the help of an interpreter, it turned out that the woman had been threatened with a knife. There were no injuries, but charges were filed.
