Wienroither back in the Arsenal squad for the first time

328 days after tearing her cruciate ligament, Laura Wienroither was back in the match squad of English women's top club Arsenal for the first time on Sunday. However, the 25-year-old right-back was not substituted in the Londoners' deserved 3-1 away win at Aston Villa.

The Upper Austrian suffered the injury on May 1, 2023 in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Wolfsburg. Manuela Zinsberger kept the Arsenal goal as usual.
