David Alaba: “Rehab is going really well”

The documentary series "Team Spirit - Our Road to the European Championship" was presented on Sunday evening in the presence of numerous soccer celebrities. ÖFB captain David Alaba was also present. "I'm doing well according to the circumstances. The rehab is going really well, I'm going step by step and trying to take my steps forward - we'll see," said Alaba, when asked about a possible appearance at the European Championships.

The Real Madrid professional is currently working on his comeback after suffering a cruciate ligament rupture on December 17 last year.

Four episodes soon on TV
The entire national team, including the coaching staff and ÖFB President Klaus Mitterdorfer, watched the first of what will initially be four 45-minute episodes at the Vindobona in Vienna, in which the successful qualification for EURO 2024 is highlighted. The episodes will be available on the Canal+ streaming app from March 29 and on ORF from mid-May.

Two more episodes are expected to be added in the coming weeks. In addition to match scenes, Ralf Rangnick's dressing room speeches and interviews with the team manager and numerous key players such as Alaba, Marko Arnautovic, Marcel Sabitzer, Christoph Baumgartner, Konrad Laimer and Michael Gregoritsch will also be shown.
